Create Your Own GOOD Maker Challenge

Since launching GOOD Maker last fall, we’ve created Challenges about everything from health to music to international development, and now we’re turning the reins over to you. What kind of Challenge would you create to source the next great awareness campaign, design project, or solution?

You can Challenge the community to:

• Submit proposals to run an event about a specific cause
• Share their stories, experiences or opinions
• Come up with a new way to approach a social issue
• Generate good ideas that your organization wants to implement

Those are just a few ideas— let your imagination run wild! Take a look at our past and current Challenges for additional inspiration.

Send us your best Challenge idea between March 6 and April 3 (noon Pacific Time), we’ll put it to a vote from April 3-10, and the winner’s Challenge will be implemented on GOOD Maker. GOOD will provide $500 in prize money for the upcoming Challenge.

Submission tips:

• Include a photo or video that represents your idea. Photos should be in JPG, PNG, or GIF format, at least 572 × 346 pixels and no larger than 10MB. To include a video, use a YouTube URL.
• Write at least 3-5 sentences that explain your Challenge idea and why you believe it will drive creative submissions with a positive social impact.
• Email us at maker@goodinc.com with any questions.

Note: Currently, only GOOD and our partner organizations can launch Challenges on the site, but we’ll soon be opening up the platform so that any individual, group, or organization can use GOOD Maker as a tool for social change. Even if you don’t win, we will follow-up with you with information on how you can run your Challenge once we open up the tool for Do-It-Yourself use.

• This Challenge is open for submissions from March 6 to April 3.
• Projects will be featured on this page and public voting will be open from April 3 to April 10.
• The Challenge idea with the most votes will be selected as a future GOOD Maker Challenge.
• There is no monetary prize or grant for the winner of the “Create Your Own GOOD Maker Challenge” contest.
